Buildings consume nearly half of the energy and 70% of the electricity used in the United States. Additionally, more than 54% of American landfills are composed of demolished and discarded building materials. It is difficult to imagine a more perfect union of idea and application than green design and construction in the museum, educational and nonprofit arena.
